What we do with the details you put in the form on this site. Last updated 22 September 2026.
Who we are
This site is run by Rafter Systems. We are the data controller for anything you send us through it. The registered company details, including the legal entity behind the trading name, are in the footer of every page.

What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form:
- Your name
- Your company, if you give it
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you give it
- Whatever you write in the message box
Nothing else. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no tracking pixels or embedded third-party scripts. We do not know you visited unless you fill the form in.
Why we have it, and on what basis
We use it to ring or email you back about your enquiry, and to answer any follow-up. That is the only thing we use it for.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch — and, where you go on to discuss working with us, taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
We will not add you to a mailing list, sell your details, or pass them to anyone for marketing.
Who else sees it
A small number of suppliers process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to do their job:
- Our website host, which serves these pages
- Web3Forms, which takes the enquiry form and delivers it to our inbox
- Our email provider, where the enquiry lands
Some of these may process data outside the UK. Where they do, that transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires. We will name any of them for you on request.
How long we keep it
If we speak and you decide against it, we delete your details within twelve months. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, because tax law requires it.
Ask us to delete your details sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to hold on to them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete it
- Stop or limit what we do with it
- Hand it over in a portable format
- Stop processing it where we rely on legitimate interests

If you are unhappy
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top.
